Mission and Purpose Statement
- Bookstore: The mission of the KCKCC Bookstore is to enhance and support the educational process of Kansas City Kansas Community College. In pursuit of this mission the KCKCC Bookstore will provide a convenient and efficient source for purchase, at competitive prices, of books, school supplies, equipment, materials, and other services and merchandise related to campus life for the students, faculty, staff, alumni and community
- Buildings & Grounds: The mission of the Buildings and Grounds Department is to manage the physical assets of the College so as to provide a clean, safe, professional environment for students, staff, and faculty General maintenance, remodeling, energy conservation, campus beautification, custodial support are all pieces of the Buildings and Grounds responsibilities
- Business Office: The Business Office is the fiscal office of the College, responsible for acceptance of monies, payment of all College debts, accounting for funds, tracking budgets, and fiscal administration of all grant funds.
- Campus Police: The mission of the KCKCC Campus Police Department is to provide and maintain an atmosphere that enhances the educational process and the total mission of the College by providing 24 hour per day, 7 days a week police protection.
- Performing Arts Center: The Performing Arts Center is responsible for providing a professional theater and performance venue for KCKCC student classes and events, campus events and usage and, when available, community events.
- Purchasing/Risk Management: The Purchasing and Risk Management department is the College’s centralized procurement center, responsible for finding the best bids and prices on College purchases. It is also responsible for the College’s insurance programs, fixed asset inventory, telephone services, and personnel benefits.
