College Advancement
One of America’s most popular exercise programs, “Yoga for Personal Health,” will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College starting Tuesday, Sept. 18.
Offered each Tuesday and Thursday from 6-7 p.m., the class will be held in the KCKCC Wellness Center on the east side of the campus and run through Oct. 25.
Instructed by Irene Breedlove, yoga not only teaches better balance, flexibility and strength through focused mind and breathing exercises, it teaches relaxation and improves personal health.
The cost is $60 for two nights a week ($55 for Prime Time Club members) or $35 for one night a week. Persons can register by phone with credit card payment at 913-288-7660; in person in the Community Education Building on the east side of the campus at 7250 State Avenue; or on-line at Yoga for Personal Health.
