A three-week course in Community Spanish will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College beginning Monday, July 9.
The class will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8:30 p.m. through July 25 in the Conference Center adjacent to the campus lake.
With Spanish rapidly becoming the second language of Wyandotte County, the fun and interactive non-credit course will equip participants with the skills and confidence to communicate more effectively by learning and actively practicing basic grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation to greet, meet and even assist Spanish speakers in the community. The class will be taught by Stephanie Marquez of the KCKCC Community Education Division.
Tuition is $85 ($80 for Prime Time members) and includes all materials. Registration can be made in person in the Community Education Building (CEB) on the east side of the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue; by phone with credit card payment at 913-288-7660; or on-line at Community Spanish.
