A Level 2 course in Beginning Excel will be offered at Kansas City Kansas Community College beginning Tuesday, Oct. 30.
A series of five classes, Beginning Excel-Level 2 will be offered on Tuesdays from 6-9 p.m. through Dec. 4. However, no class will be held Nov. 20. A prerequisite is having completed Beginning Microsoft Excel 2010 or equivalent.
Taught by Larry Cicero, the course will enable participants to expand their knowledge of Microsoft’s Office Suite of Program. Using a hands-on approach, students will become familiar with using large and multiple worksheets, managing data and worksheets, drawing objects, using autofilter, working with comments and other features. Participants are asked to bring a flash drive to the first class.
Cost of the five-class series is $75 and includes textbook. Registration can be made in person in the Community Education Building (CEB) on the east side of the KCKCC campus at 7250 State Avenue; by phone with credit card payment at 913-288-7660; or on-line at Beginning Excel - Level 2.
