Applying for KCKCC Foundation Scholarships

Scholarship Deadline Update

While the spring deadline has passed, we encourage you to check back on February 1, when the fall application will be available. In the meantime you can submit your FASFA ( Free Application for Federal Student Aid) at to determine if you are eligible for any federal funds.   

How to Apply

  1. Click on the three PDF documents below: The deadline has passed.
  2. Save these three (3) PDF documents to your computer.
  3. Alternately, on the left side of the Foundation main page, click 'KCKCC Foundation Scholarships' link in Helpful Links section and you will be directed to the same three documents.
  4. Open the Scholarship Criteria document and carefully review the requirements for all scholarships and choose those that match your qualifications.
  5. Open the Scholarship Application. Check the blue boxes to the left of the scholarships for which you qualify and complete all information. Sign and date at the bottom of page 2 and save the completed form to your computer.
  6. Write a one (1) page typed, double-spaced essay detailing your degree plan, career aspirations and how a scholarship will assist in achieving these goals. Save the essay to your computer.
  7. High School Students - scan your most current semester transcripts and save to your computer. Current KCKCC students do not need to submit transcripts.Foundation Staff will verify your GPA during the review process.
  8. KCKCC Students - obtain a copy of your current degree plan from WebAdvisor, your Academic Advisor or your department representative. Scan this document to your computer. High School Students will not have a degree plan.
  9. Open a New Email to and in the Subject Line type: Scholarship Application. Attach the following documents to your email:
    1. Completed Foundation Scholarship Application.
    2. One (1) page typed, double-spaced essay.
    3. Transcripts (High School Students).
    4. Degree plan (KCKCC Students).
  10. Sign your email with your name and phone number and click Send.
  11. Upon receipt of the email, a Foundation staff member will review the application and supporting documentation.

    If any additional information or missing documentation is needed, you will be notified by email or phone.

  12. You may also hand-deliver a copy of your completed documentation to the KCKCC Foundation Office on Main Campus, Mathematics 3500.
