2017 Mid-America Education Hall of Fame Awards & Scholarship Event

How can you make an impact on the world today … by investing in the future!  Supporting students of all ages achieve their goals and contribute to society, makes our city, state, and country a better place to live.  Each individual has potential, and it’s our job to be the catalyst by offering access and support through financial scholarships.

The Kansas City Kansas Community College Foundation is pleased to announce the newly rebranded 2017 Mid-America Awards and Scholarship Event on April 15, 2017 at the Thomas R. Burke Technical Education Center.  The event will not only feature fabulous food and an exciting ambiance, but showcase some of our student offerings through engaging activities.

Will you … Support KCKCC Students?

Will Shields is leading our theme of “Will you…” as we spotlight KCKCC students and achievements in the Kansas City region.

Mr. Shields started his stellar football career at University of Nebraska. He was first-team All-American, Outland Trophy winner, selected to the Nebraska All-Century Team, and was named to the Athlon Sports Nebraska All-Time Team.  Professionally, Will was inducted into the Kansas City Chiefs Hall of Fame in 2012 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015 after an amazing 14-year career.

Will is an example of a passionate leader, entrepreneur and lifelong learner.  We are so pleased that he has accepted the task of leading this year’s event, and we hope that we can count on you to step up to this challenge!

The Mid-America Hall of Fame Awards and Scholarship Event is KCKCC Foundation’s most important scholarship fundraising event. Your generous support will allow us to continue supporting our students.  Please see below for sponsorship levels and additional information.
