About Kansas City Kansas Community College

Kansas City Kansas Community College is a centrally located public 2-year institution in northeast Kansas. Within the city limits of Kansas City, Kansas, the College is conveniently located within Wyandotte County.

A flexible schedule of course offerings is provided to meet the needs of its students. In addition to regular day and evening courses, KCKCC offers classes in the late afternoon, on Saturdays, in the summer, online, and at mid-semester.

Kansas City Kansas Community College (KCKCC) is accredited by The Higher Learning Commission, a commission of the North Central Association and the Kansas Board of Regents. In addition, individual programs are accredited by professional organizations: the Business Division by the Association of Collegiate Business Schools and Programs; Mortuary Science by the American Board of Funeral Service Education; Nursing Education by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN) and approved by the Kansas State Board of Nursing; Respiratory Therapy by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs and the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care; and Physical Therapist Assistant Program by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education. The College is approved by the Kansas Veterans Commission and the Veterans Administration for veterans’ college training.
