First and foremost, the Division of Student Services at Kansas City Kansas Community College is here to assist students in completing their degree or certificate.  To make that happen, the staff in the Division believe that learning occurs both inside and outside of the classroom.  In addition to utilizing our Student Advising Center and Counseling and Advocacy Center for assistance with academic matters, we encourage students to participate in programs and activities sponsored by Student Activities, the Intercultural Center, and Athletics.  Enjoying living in Student Housing, seeking medical help from our Health Center, or offering quality care through our Child Care Center, we focus on all the ways we can help students be successful.

Child Care Center

The Child Care Center is open to serve both day and evening students. The facility provides an education program for children while parents are attending class or working on campus. Children ages 2 to 12 years old may attend the Center.

Health Center

The Health Office is staffed by a certified, registered nurse and is equipped with a variety of supplies, equipment, and over the counter medications for treatment of minor illness or injury. Vision and hearing screenings are available on an appointment basis. A local physician is consulted regularly to provide standing orders for treatment. No problem is too small, so please feel free to utilize the service.

Intercultural Center

Stop by the Intercultural Center for complimentary beverages, good conversation, and interaction with students, faculty, staff and community members. We are located on the Lower Level of the Jewell Building, room 2303.
