Enrollment Checklist

  1. Complete a free application for admissions by going to our website, www.kckcc.edu, and applying online. Check your e-mail for confirmation that your application has been received and processed. Submit high school and previous college transcripts to Transcript Services.

  2. Set up WebAdvisor and KCKCC E-mail. Your KCKCC student I.D. will be sent to the e-mail address you listed on your application. Create your WebAdvisor© account following the instructions contained in your e-mail. Once your WebAdvisor© account has been created, use the same login information to access your KCKCC Student e-mail. KCKCC will only communicate with students through this school-issued e-mail address.

  3. Go to the website, www.fafsa.ed.gov to apply for Financial Aid. This is a FREE application. You will need to have completed your tax returns for the previous year before you can complete the application. Our school code is 001925.

  4. Take the Placement Test. This is an evaluation of your math and English skills. The assessment is FREE! Please allow one and a half hours to complete the test. You will need to provide a photo ID and you will need to know your KCKCC student ID number to take the test. You were emailed your student ID number. Children are not allowed in the testing room. Please make appropriate childcare arrangements.

    The test is available on the following days:
    Monday - Thursday
    8:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.
    2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

    You will need your test scores to enroll.

  5. New Student Orientation. New Students are required to attend a new student orientation session prior to beginning classes. Orientation will give students the chance to interact with key offices on campus to learn more about KCKCC policies as well as services and opportunities available to them as students. To register, visit www.kckcc.edu. Click on Academics then Student Orientation.

  6. Make an appointment with a counselor or advisor for enrollment to discuss your academic and career plans. Bring your placement test scores to your appointment. If you are transferring credits in from other institutions, make sure you bring in or have submitted your transcripts. Your enrollment is not complete until your classes have been processed. You may also enroll online using WebAdvisor©.

  7. Contact the Business Office to pay for classes. You must pay for classes before they begin, unless Financial Aid or a scholarship has been awarded. The Business Office accepts cash, checks, or credit cards. You may also make payment arrangements through FACTS e-cashier via WebAdvisor©.

  8. Obtain your student ID and Parking Permit by visiting the Campus Police in room 3462. Campus Police is open from 8am-4:30pm Monday-Friday. Please bring photo ID and class schedule with you.
