The Enrollment Management Departments are Academic Resource Center, which includes accommodations for students with disabilities; Admissions; Financial Aid, which includes Veterans Affairs; Information Center; Leavenworth Center; Records; Technical Education Center enrollment services; and Transcript/Graduation Services.

KCKCC is fully accredited and has been approved under Commission policy to offer up to 100% of its total degree programs through distance education. The college’s next comprehensive evaluation is 2015-2016.

Our Locations

KCKCC's main campus is centrally located in Wyandotte County at 7250 State Avenue. The campus is easily accessible from I-70 with College Parkway Exit.  A few blocks away from the main campus is our Technical Education Center located at 6565 State Ave. We also serve the Leavenworth area with our center located at 225 Cherokee St.  Maps & Directions

General Requirements

Admission to Kansas City Kansas Community College is granted by meeting one of the following requirements:

A graduate from a regionally accredited high school
A transfer student in good standing, from a regionally accredited university/college
A successful completer of the General Education Development (GED) examination

If these requirements cannot be met, students should seek admission under the special student, high school student, or international student categories.

If you have submitted an application for admission within the past 2 years you are ready to either make an appointment with your advisor or log into WebAdvisor and enroll in classes.

Selective Admissions

Admission to KCKCC does not guarantee enrollment into the following programs: Nursing, Practical Nursing, MICT (Mobile Intensive Care Technician/Paramedic) Mortuary Science, Respiratory Therapy, Physical Therapy Assistant, Cosmetology, and Nail Technology. Selective Admissions
