New Student Orientation

Once you have completed placement testing, you are required to attend a New Student Orientation prior to meeting with an Academic Advisor or Program Coordinator.  In this session, you will learn about the different resources available to you along with information on various departments you will be working with while here at KCKCC.  You will also receive information on how to access WebAdvisor and MyDotte along with the college website.

New Student Orientation is not required for non-degree seeking students or visiting students.

Technical Education Center students will attend their orientation on the first day of classes.

Registration is not required.  Please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your session.  Once the session has started, students arriving late will be asked to attend another session.

After attending one of the listed orientation sessions, you may then schedule an appointment with one of our Academic Advisors or Program Coordinators to plan your schedule and enroll.  For more information, please contact Carla Pestock in the Student Advising Center at 913-288-7187.
