Liberal Arts & Sciences
PACE Weekend College
Dean: Lori Trumbo
Coordinator: Julie Denk
Curriculum pathway leading to an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts & Sciences for students seeking a transfer degree to a 4-year institution.
PACE allows working adults to maintain work and family responsibilities while pursuing a liberal arts degree. Full-time students attend class on Saturdays & Sundays. There are eight-week and sixteen-week classes available.
PACE courses are arranged in pairings by discipline. All requirements for an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts & Sciences degree are offered in the program. You may pick and choose the classes you need or want according to your schedule.
Students with previous hours earned at an accredited college or university are encouraged to seek advising in the PACE office prior to enrollment. Courses transfer to most four-year colleges in the area. Students who are not seeking a liberal arts degree may enroll in general education classes through PACE to meet other degree requirements. Students may contact the PACE office in the Community Education Building, upper level, or by calling 913-288-7164.
