Curriculum pathway leading to an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts & Sciences for students seeking a transfer degree to a 4-year institution:

Students interested in a journalism career are encouraged to plan their program with the requirements of a four-year college in mind. The following classes satisfy the basic distribution requirements for four-year colleges in the state of Kansas, and courses may be transferred as a block. However, they may not meet the admissions requirements for all journalism programs in the state. Students are strongly advised to consult with a journalism department advisor before enrolling. Students may apply directly to the department for scholarships.
