This is a one-semester course which prepares a high school senior to become a Certified Nurse Aide who provides direct patient care (taking vital signs, assisting with nourishment consumption, personal hygiene, etc.). The student will also spend time at a pre-assigned clinical setting. High school students in this program must also buy a supply kit. At the end of the semester, the student must pass the state exam in order to work as a CNA.
