Transfer Agreement Program: KCKCC/Avila University
Complete two years at KCKCC, graduating with an AAS in Addictions or your Certificate in Victim Services; then transfer to Avila University and complete your BSW in two years.
You will be prepared to work as a generalist social worker with a specialty in addictions treatment or victim services. You will have entry level certification in addictions and be eligible for licensure in social work and could finish an MSW with only one additional year of study!
Social workers specializing in substance abuse will experience strong employment demand in the next decade. Growth is projected to be as high as 30% according to the Department of Labor Occupational Handbook.
