Tuition and Fees

Tuition rates are subject to change as set by the Board of Trustees.

In-State Kansas Resident $59.00 per credit hour
Out-of-State Students $157.00 per credit hour
Online Access Fee $30.00 per course
Telecourse Fee $20.00 per course
Web-Enhanced Course Fee $15.00 per course

Tuition Payment:  Early enrollees may pay tuition by mail any time prior to December 29, 2008, or in person by payment deadline, 4:00 p.m., January 7, 2009. January enrollees must be prepared to pay tuition at the time of enrollment. Master/VISA/Discover can be used for tuition, fees, and books. The college is closed December 19, 2008, and re-opens January 5, 2009.

  • All students having tuition and fees paid by an outside agency must have written authorization by the agency on file in the Student Financial Aid Office in order to defer payment of covered charges.
  • Enrollees who are dependents of public safety officers who died as a result of injuries sustained in the line of duty should identify them- selves to Admissions personnel at the time of enrollment and inquire about eligibility for a tuition and fee waiver.
  • Enrollees who are full-time and part-time employees, spouses or dependent children of employees, may apply for a tuition and fee waiver by completing an Employee Tuition Scholarship Application and submitting it to the Student Financial Aid Office. Employee Tuition Scholarship Applications are available at the KCKCC Human Resources Office.

By mail or in person:  If you early enroll in person or by phone, you will be billed by the Business Office the 1st week in December. Mailed payments (check, money order, MasterCard, Visa or Discover) must be postmarked by December 29, 2008.

By financial aid:  If you have applied for financial aid and have not yet received an Award Notice sent to you by the KCKCC Financial Aid Office, you should report to the Student Financial Aid Office. If you have not yet applied for financial aid, you should contact the Student Financial Aid Office as soon as possible. If the Student Financial Aid Office does not have your processed aid application on file, you will be expected to make other payment arrangements.
