Pre-Law
Curriculum pathway leading to an Associate in Arts in Liberal Arts & Sciences for students transferring into the following 4-year programs:
Dean: Dr. Charles E. Wilson
Students interested in a career in law should realize that according to state legislation, a bachelor's degree is required for admission to a college of law in Kansas. Hence, most students following a pre-law program take courses to meet the general educational requirements of a four-year college. The following suggested schedule conforms to outlines submitted by the Kansas State Bar Association. Reasonable deviations may be made after consultation with an advisor or counselor.
The Associate in Arts Degree meets the Board of Regents Transfer and Articulation Agreement. A Student completing this program and transferring to a public university, therefore, "will be accepted as having satisfied the general education requirements of all Kansas public universities."
