Service Learning
The Service Learning Center at KCKCC gives students the opportunity to blend academic study and community service through active participation. Students can gain valuable practical experience in their field of study that will be meaningful in obtaining employment. Also, students can be a part of an innovative program for youth in our community.
Project S.O.L.V.E. stands for Service Opportunities for Learning through Volunteer Experiences. Project S.O.L.V.E. grew out of a community partnership between the College and the Wyandotte County Juvenile Court.
This partnership provides service-learning opportunities for KCKCC students while providing guidance and leadership to youth under the jurisdiction of the Juvenile Court.
