Course Load
The normal course load for students is 15 to 16 credit hours during the Fall and Spring semesters and 6 credit hours in the Summer Session (mid-term and late start courses are the same as Summer). Students are not permitted to enroll in more than 18 credit hours during a regular semester without special permission from the Division Dean in which the overload occurs. If the Academic Dean is not available, the overload may be approved by the Registrar. To request an overload in the Spring and Fall and 9 credit hours in the summer session, students must have excellent grades, show superior achievement in their college courses, and not work over 20 hours a week.
