Career Programs
KCKCC offers an Associate in Applied Science degree or Certificates in a variety of career programs. The intent of these career programs is to prepare students for employment at the end of one or two years of study. Students are expected to follow the degree requirements developed by the College's advisory committee and approved by the State. Any deviation from the authorized program by students seeking a degree or certificate in one of these areas must be recommended by the coordinator in charge of the program and approved by the Division Dean and the Provost.
Kansas City Kansas Community College requires all Career Program students to be proficient in the Kansas Career Development Competencies before a degree and/or certificate is awarded.
