Dean's Honor Scholarship

Offered to students who are Wyandotte County residents, have a 3.3 GPA or above, and have completed 12 or more hours. It pays tuition and fees for Honors Courses taken the following semester. Contact the Honors' Education Office.

G.E.D. Presidential Scholarship

Office of Continuing Education awards two scholarships to the students receiving the highest G.E.D. scores at KCKCC. The scholarships pay tuition and fees for up to 18 credit hours for 4 semesters. A third scholarship pays $500 per semester for an adult education student with a GED score of at least 2500 and good attendance. Application deadline is May 20 th each year. Presidential Honor's Scholarship

This scholarship requires recommendation from your high school. The KCKCC Honors’ Education Office pays tuition and fees for a maximum of 4 semesters. Criteria for recommendation are: (1) class rank of 20 or lower for Wyandotte County residents or 10 or lower for Leavenworth County residents, determined at the end of the junior year or later; or (2) cumulative GPA of at least a 3.0 and a composite ACT score of 23 or higher, or (3) cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 and a composite ACT score of 21 or higher, or (4) cumulative GPA of at least 3.75 and a composite ACT score of 20. Youth Enrichment Seminar Scholarship

A consortium between the University of Kansas Talent Search Office and KCKCC designed to work with disadvantaged and high-risk students from the summer of grade eight through high school, followed by a full tuition and fee scholarship for up to 4 semesters at KCKCC. Contact KCKCC Director of Counseling or the University of Kansas Talent Search Office in Kansas City, Kansas.
