Mission and Purpose
The Division of Humanities and Fine Arts is committed to providing opportunities for student learning in art, English, English for Speakers of Other Languages, foreign languages, journalism, music, reading, speech, and theatre. To that end, we constantly evaluate our effectiveness in meeting student needs by conducting classroom evaluations of instruction, participating in student learning assessments, and by offering classes that reflect the college's mission statement.
We offer general education, transfer, skill development, and life enriching courses. We encourage multicultural and international components throughout our curriculum.
