Student Activities

Getting Involved
KCKCC’S governing body offers a wide variety of extra-curricular activities. Students can become more involved in their college life if they take advantage of the opportunities offered on campus.

Office of Student Activities
The Office of Student Activities’ goal is to host events for the student body and campus community that are educational, social, and motivational in nature. This includes activities such as intramural games, concerts, lectures, campus cerebrations of heritages, blood drives, student appreciation day, game room tournaments, festivals, and novelty/variety acts of entertainment. The Student Activities Office also provides guidance to and oversees the 25 recognized campus student organizations/clubs, advises the Student Senate, coaches the Academic Excellence Challenge Team, coordinates Graduation activities, sells various tickets (i.e., Worlds of Fun, Schlitterbahn, Renaissance Festival, etc.), and supervises the campus bulletin board policy.

The Office of Student Activities is located on the lower level of the J. Paul Jewell Student Center, Room 2313. For more information, contact Linda H. Sutton at (913) 288-7652.
