J. Paul Jewell Student Center
The J. Paul Jewell Student Center is operated by the College to provide student-related activities and services. The Admissions Office, Financial Aid/Veteran's Affairs Offices, the Academic Resource Center, Career Center, the Regional Prevention Center of Wyandotte County, Community Outreach/Women's Resource Center, Dean of Student Services, Counseling Center, Student Health Services & Comprehensive Health Resource Center are all located in the upper level of the Student Center. Student Activities/Student Senate Office, College Bookstore, and the Blue Devil Deli are all located on the lower level of the Student Center.
The Game Room is available for pool, table tennis, and other games from 9 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. during the regular semesters. Monthly tournaments are offered. A KCKCC Student I.D. is required for Game Room use or equipment check-out.
The Blue Devil Deli is open for food service from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday, and 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Friday, while classes are in session during the fall and spring semesters. Summer hours with classes in session are 7:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m., Monday-Thursday. A full line of refreshments is available from the deli menu.
The Bookstore is operated by the College in the Student Center. New and used books required for all courses are available. In addition to textbooks, school supplies, paperback books, t-shirts, gift items, cards, etc. are on sale in the Bookstore. The Bookstore buys back textbooks at the end of each semester during finals. A student I.D. card is required to participate.
The Student Center is open and available for co-curricular activities from 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Room reservations are made through the Dean of Student Services.
