"Making Life Safer!"
The KCKCC Board of Trustees approves purchase of new light board and dimmers.
For many years we have struggled to make due with our lighting and communication systems in the Performing Arts Center. After 24 years of service our light board and dimmer bank are being retired to make way for a computerized state of the art system. Major financing for the new equipment was made possible through a state grant for new technology written by Dr. Kaye Walter, our Vice-President of Academic Services. We are grateful to Dr. Walter and the Board for their in assistance in keeping our students at the cutting edge of theatre technology. The theatre will be dark for a month while the old equipment and wiring are removed. The system will be up and working in time for the opening of The Jungle Book.
