Welcome to the Division of Humanities & Fine Arts!
With twenty-six exceptionally dedicated fulltime faculty and a complement of outstanding adjunct instructors, we present a wide array of classes in convenient meeting patterns each semester. Virtually all students seeking an associate's degree come through our area, as we provide instruction in skills that are critical to every educational and career path:
We also have many courses to enrich personal development, such as Art, Dance, Journalism, Music, and Theatre. There are opportunities for those who wish to participate in the creative process by drawing, reporting, performing, etc.; for students who prefer to examine the masterworks from a historical view; and for persons who blend technological and artistic talents in Audio Engineering and Digital Imaging. Finally, our curriculum offers assistance to increase verbal skills in Reading and English for Speakers of Other Languages.
Of course, some of the best college experiences occur outside traditional classrooms. Our division houses national championship teams in debate and forensics, award-winning bands and choirs, and a variety of opportunities to gain experience in producing news media, theatrical productions, and visual art displays. Furthermore, there are many incentives available.
Please visit our webpages to find out more about our division. Better yet, visit in person! My office is in the Humanities Building, room 1111. I can also be reached by email, email@example.com or phone, 913-288-7269. However, to ensure I can give my full attention to your visit, please call my administrative assistant, 913-288-7134 for an appointment.
Thank you for your interest. I look forward to meeting you soon!
