Learning Commons

The goals of the Learning Commons are to
  • Enhance academic rigor and collaborative learning for students, faculty, and staff.
  • Provide a technology-enriched environment that fosters everywhere, all-the-time learning.
  • Stimulate critical thinking and personalize learning across academic disciplines.

Construction Updates

Due to facility upgrades, Learning Services will be providing tutoring upstairs in the Northeast corner in rooms 2L01, 2L02, 2L03, and 2L04 in the upper level, Learning Commons for the remainder of this week. We will have additional computers upstairs as well as laptop checkout available for student convenience. Thanks for your patience and flexibility as we work to create better learning spaces for our students.

Accessing Learning Commons During Construction

There are two alternative ways to access the Learning Commons:
  • Ground Level - Gain access thru the Health Professions Building
  • Lower Level -  Gain access from the back door

The Center for Teaching Excellence fosters academic discourse specific to the craft of teaching while leveraging technology, academic assessment, and professional learning to enhance pedagogy and student learning.

Learning Services provides innovative, technology enriched academic support to stimulate critical thinking & collaborative learning across all academic disciplines.

Library Services

The Library is the heart of any college and we are excited to assist you. The Library has Books, Newspapers, Magazines, Laptops, Study Rooms, Calculators, and a Computer Lab. Also available are thousands of electronic library resources available 24 hours a day including full access to the State Library Online Resources.
