The Academic Resources available at Kansas City Kansas Community College assists students in strengthening their academic skills and successfully completing their college work. Support services and an assessment of current achievement levels are available to all students.

Learning Resource Center

Lower Level - Learning Commons | 913-288-7575

The Learning Resource Center provides innovative, technology enriched academic support to stimulate critical thinking & collaborative learning across all academic disciplines. 

Walk-in tutoring is available in the lower level of the Learning Commons daily for many subjects/projects: science, math, social sciences, lab reports, essay writing, speech practice, reading practice, literature discussions, study skills, test preparation, etc.

Library Services

The KCKCC Library serves students, staff, faculty and administrators of the college and the community residents by providing access to a variety of services and resources that support and strengthen the instructional programs of the college and the higher educational needs of the community. In addition to materials located in the Library, it provides access to the internet and various web-based electronic resources from any computer on campus or from home, if you are a currently enrolled student at KCKCC.

Student Success Center

Success Advisors help students with educational objectives such as deciding on a major, understanding KCKCC degree requirements, planning a KCKCC degree program, preparing to transfer to a four-year institution, and course selection and transferability.

Our professional Success Advisors provide a safe and caring environment to discuss personal concerns. They utilize an interactive student-centered approach which respects the dignity, worth, and culture of each individual.

TRiO Student Support Services

TRiO Student Support Services (SSS) is continuously looking for students who are devoted and committed to the demands and rewards of learning and furthering their educational goals through graduation and transfer. Each semester, TRiO SSS accepts program applications from interested students. TRiO is limited to the number of students it can serve but all eligible students have an equal opportunity to apply to the program.
