October 14 at 2:30 p.m.

Directed by Cinnamon Paulette

Lobby Hero, nominated for the Outer Critics Circle Award for Outstanding Off-Broadway Play, tells the story of Jeff, a luckless young security guard trying to get his life together after being thrown out of the navy. But the lobby proves to be no sanctuary from the world, as Jeff is drawn into a local murder investigation involving his supervisor, a tightly wound young man called upon to bear witness against his troubled brother, and an overzealous rookie policewoman who is in over her head with her unscrupulous hero-cop partner.

Doubt, A Parable

November 8,9, and 10 at 7:30 p.m.
November 11 at 2:30 p.m.
By John Patrick Shanley
Directed by Sheridan Smith

Published in 2005 – just as relevant today - “A superb new drama written by John Patrick Shanley. It is an inspired study in moral uncertainty with the compellingly certain structure of an old-fashioned detective drama. Even as Doubt holds your conscious attention as an intelligently measured debate play, it sends off stealth charges that go deeper emotionally. One of the year’s ten best.”—Ben Brantley, The New York Times

Heathers: The Musical

April 4, 5 and 6,  at 7:30 p.m.
April 7,  at 2:30 p.m.
Directed by Missy Koonce
Lyrics and Book by Laurence O’Keefe and Kevin Murphy

Whilst being light-hearted with humorous characters and ‘fun songs’, the show opens conversations about dark issues including ‘bullying, teen suicide, and violence in schools.’ The ‘social politics’ of high school are shifted when ‘rebellious’ Veronica Sawyer meets the ‘damaged romantic wild card’ JD, and the hierarchy ruled by the ‘clique’ of Heathers falls apart with ‘accidental’ and not so accidental murders. Heathers explores ‘empowerment’ and vulnerability in the relationships between friends, lovers, parents and school communities, creating a show of high emotion.
