Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapy offers rewarding opportunities to make positive differences in the quality of people's lives. It is an exciting and growing field with many opportunities for the physical therapist assistant.

Our program offers an Associate in Applied Science degree. The curriculum includes the general education requirements necessary for the associate degree and the physical therapist assistant program requirements.  You are encouraged to contact the Program Director at pta@kckcc.edu  to obtain the procedure and criteria for application to the PTA program as well as program prerequisites.

Accreditation

The PTA program at KCKCC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.

The program achieved initial accreditation in May 1998.  Full accreditation is effective through 2023.

Graduation rate: 86.67%
