Physical Therapy offers rewarding opportunities to make positive differences in the quality of people's lives. It is an exciting and growing field with many opportunities for the physical therapist assistant.

Our program offers an Associate in Applied Science degree. The curriculum includes the general education requirements necessary for the associate degree and the physical therapist assistant program requirements.  You are encouraged to contact the Program Director at  to obtain the procedure and criteria for application to the PTA program as well as program prerequisites.

The Physical Therapist Assistant is a skilled health care provider working under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.  Following completion of the program, the student is awarded an Associate of Applied Science Degree.  The PTA program at KCKCC is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education of the American Physical Therapy Association.
