Health Professions

Nursing_SMThe Division of Health Professions is committed to student learning which will prepare outstanding practitioners for various fields of allied health. This knowledge progresses from essential courses through fundamental to complex clinical concepts. The Division of Health Professions is designed to prepare students to function as entry-level allied health professionals.

Mathematics, Science and Business Division

MSCT_SMThe Mathematics, Science and Business Division is committed to excellence in all of its courses. Through a supportive learning environment, the mission of the dean, faculty, and staff is to provide our students with programs that range from technical certifications, to associate degrees in Art, Science, General Studies, and Applied Science.

Social and Behavioral Sciences and Public Services

The Social and Behavioral Sciences and Public Services is committed to meeting the academic needs of the social and behavioral science major by providing quality introductory transfer courses and general education courses for the non-major student.

The division also provides career focused programs in Addiction Counseling, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education and Police Science, among other career fields. 

Technology and Workforce Development

TEC_SMThe Technical Education Center meets the changing educational and technological workforce development needs of the community by providing adult education and technical training to support the economic and well-being of the community and businesses within the college service area. We minimize barriers to educational opportunities and enhance the intellectual and technical skills of area residents by providing adult training, general academic and technical education, customized business and industry training, and economic development services that prepare students and trainees for rewarding employment.
